About me

I have practiced as a psychologist for over 25 years now and have worked for most of my life in the helping professions. I initially worked in the National Health Service and then moved into private practice in New Barnet, North London.

I have trained in systemic, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural and  mindfulness approaches to therapy and blend these into my work as appropriate. I work within an overall framework of humanistic therapy and believe in having a respectful and accepting relationship with clients.

Should we work together, we may look at your relationship with significant people in your life, perhaps your partner, family, friends or work colleagues. We may think about your current unhelpful thoughts, feelings, body sensations and actions. We may also consider how your history and early relationships shaped how you became who you are.

I am Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), registration number: PYL 16062  and as an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS), membership number: 35975​​.
